Q. Is Your Stock Located in Australia or sent from overseas ?
A. All stock is sourced from Manufacturers or Commercial Suppliers within Australia

Q. What happens if I am not home to accept the delivery?
A. Before delivery, our Driver will call you and confirm a delivery time that will be suitable to you. As a result, if you are not home as arranged to receive the delivery a second delivery charge may be applied for the subsequent re-delivery.

Q. How can I pay for my order?
A. MasterCard and Visa cards are accepted on the website, Via Online payment via our gateway or by Paypal.

Q. Can I Pay other than by credit card ?
A. If prior arrangements are made via emailing or calling MAD we can arrange for Other payment options like Bank Deposit.

Q. Do all products have warranty?
A.Yes. All products are supplied with the Standard Manufacturers Warranties applicable. Please be aware that the warranty period may be reduced by the manufacturers if the product is used in a Commercial application. (refer to the manufacturers warranty webpage).

Q. What can I do if my product is faulty?
A. During the Standard Manufacturers Warranty period the product should be serviced by the manufacturers Service Agent in your area. If you are unsure of which business that may be please contact the manufacturer direct and they will advise you of their Service Agents. If you purchased an Extended Warranty Cover for the product, after the initial Standard Warranty has expired please phone 1300 308 309 (Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm EST) and the Extended Warranty team will advise you how to proceed. (A copy of the Extended Warranty Terms and Conditions can be downloaded from this site)

Q. Do you sell "Factory Seconds"?
A. No.

Q How do I buy products from Melbourne Appliances Direct?
A. Simply choose the product(s) you wish to purchase and complete your order through the checkout system. When you order a product from MAD you will be sent an Order Number via email. When your order has been processed we will send you a confirmation email and Tax Invoice. All orders made on the weekend or public holidays will be processed the next business day.

Q .Can I add Extended Warranty after I pay for my order?
A. Extended Warranty can only be issued at the same time your order is placed, Simply select the Extended Warranty plan you would like while at the cart.

Q. How long will it take for my order to be delivered?
A. Our delivery times are between 2-5 business days but are always subject to the stock being available from the manufacturers or our other suppliers . If stock is not available at the time of ordering we will immediately contact you to make necessary arrangements.

Q What if I change my delivery address?
A. Please contact Customer Service if you plan to change your delivery address by creating a support ticket via My Account.

Q.What if my order has not arrived?
A. If you have not received your order by 7 business days from the date of your order, please email us immediately.

Q.How can I track my order?
A.You can track your order via the My Account login clicking the track orders button.

Q. My order was delivered damaged!
A. If an item is noticeably damaged in transit, DO NOT ACCEPT THE DELIVERY AND DO NOT SIGN FOR RECEIVING THE STOCK. Report it immediately to our MAD Customer Service Team. If an item is discovered to be damaged upon opening the packaging please notify MAD within 24 hours of signing for it. Our team will individually review all goods damaged in transit and respond promptly.

Q. What happens if my goods break within the manufacturers warranty period?
A. The product must be serviced by the Manufacturers Authorised Service Agent during that time.

Q. How much is delivery?
A. The cost for delivery is displayed when you view the ‘more info’ area for each individual product. Again the cost is confirmed during the checkout process. Prices vary for Metropolitan and Country deliveries and in some instances for very large or heavy items that require 2 people to deliver them. (Eg. Side by Side fridges)

Q. Do you deliver to my area?
A. We currently deliver to Metropolitan Melbourne, Country Victoria and parts of Southern NSW that can be serviced via Depots in Albury and Wodonga. Even within this region there may be isolated pockets that may be difficult to service. Please contact us and let us know your location and we will confirm your particular situation.
